Participant Registration

Black Belle Collective welcomes adults and children ages 3 and older, with and without disabilities. Our registration process helps us learn about each participant, understand any support needs, and prepare for a welcoming workshop experience.

Before booking, all participants must complete the applicable registration information and required program consents. Submitting a registration request does not reserve a workshop space.

How Registration Works

1. Submit an Interest/Registration Request Form

Complete our interest and registration form. Tell us who will attend, their age, the workshop they are interested in, and any accommodations or support that would help them participate.

Adults may register themselves. A parent or legal guardian must complete registration and provide consent for a child under 18. If you are assisting another adult, please identify your relationship and whether you have authority to provide consent on their behalf.

2. Complete Intake Information and Program Consents

You will receive the applicable intake questions and consent forms to complete before your registration can be approved.

These may include participation consent, emergency contact information, acknowledgment of workshop expectations, and information about accessibility or support needs. Any optional photography permission will be requested separately.

Please share information relevant to safe and comfortable participation. You do not need to provide a full medical history.

3. Registration Review

We will review your information to determine whether the requested workshop, materials, setting, and available support are a suitable fit.

If we need more information, we will contact you to discuss accommodations, caregiver involvement, or another workshop option. Our goal is to understand what will help each participant engage successfully.

4. Receive Your Approval and Booking Link

Once your registration is approved and required forms are complete, we will email you a direct Eventbrite link for the approved workshop.

Your approval email will include the next steps, booking deadline, and any agreed participation or support arrangements.

5. Book and Confirm Your Space

Use the Eventbrite link to complete your booking and any required payment. Your space is confirmed when your booking is complete and you receive your confirmation.

Before the workshop, we will share the location, arrival instructions, what to bring, and any other preparation details.

Participants Who Do Not Need Additional Support

Complete the standard registration information and required consents. You may still request accommodations or share preferences that would make the experience more comfortable.

Participants Who Need Accommodations or Additional Support

Participants with or without disabilities may need a brief additional intake or conversation before approval.

We may ask about communication preferences, sensory needs, assistance with activities, accessibility, and whether a caregiver or support professional will attend.

If a participant needs ongoing supervision or personal assistance, we will discuss those arrangements before booking. Any requirement for a parent, caregiver, or support professional to remain will be communicated in advance.

Children and Teens

A parent or legal guardian must complete the required forms and consents. Activities and materials are selected based on age, skill level, and support needs.

Your approval email will explain whether a parent or guardian must remain during the session. Some workshops may have additional age requirements based on the project and materials used.

A space is reserved only after booking and any required payment are completed.
